The most typically utilized
temperature barriers are clear vinyl strip curtains.
A variety of thicknesses and strip overlap
configurations can offer different levels of
temperature isolation and ease of access.
BUT, there are environmental limits to vinyl.
Carbon based mist will degrade vinyls as well as
many common plastics such as polycarbonates.

For machinery which also needs protection from moisture,
we use a variety of materials including teflons for
the fabrication of boots and other configurations.
The aluminum backed fiberglass
cloth composite as curtaining does a great job
reducing the escape of high & low temperatures into
surrounding areas such as walkways.
